It feels like so many people are utilizing so many social media platforms for their businesses.

And that is all great and wonderful. But does being on every single platform help or hurt? I think exposure is great if you can do that organically by all means, get your business out there.

But do you have the time to engage with your ideal audience?

Do you have the time to make fresh content and posts to keep up??

The world of technology keeps evolving and I am glad some platforms are introducing new features inside their platform so that I don’t have to sign up yet again for another social media platform.

What if I told you something about Pinterest that may just shock you.

Pinterest isn’t actually a social media platform but a search engine!!!

Now you may not be that much in shock, fineeeeee, I tried. Maybe you are? Hooray!!

But this is great news either way because although it isn’t exactly like google, it is it’s own version of google providing text and images to click to get to a link.

SEO is still very much part of the game for pinterest although they use their own algorithms.

You can analyze your data with pinterest data to see what months you grew and what months you hit a plateau.

I personally love pinterest as a user. My experience allows me to get sucked into it for hours. There is so much content on there and saving pins on different boards to keep it all organized so I can find it later is super helpful.

So how is this so useful for a business?

Businesses who aren’t usually on pinterest can now get newfound traffic onto their site. You can create a landing page or offer a freebie and it is said that a high percentage of pinterest users convert to paying customers.

You can also schedule the pins out in advance so you don’t have to manually do it every day. That is the lovely part. Do your pins in batches, schedule them off, and voila!
